Welcome to DROP, the first game ever made by Arcayd Entertainment
DROP! is a retro-style arcade game where your objective is simple: control a small moving character and dodge the constant stream of falling blocks, first prototype made in late 2025.
Blocks descend from the top of the screen in fixed columns, and as the game progresses, their speed gradually increases—making each moment more intense than the last. Your score rises the longer you survive, rewarding quick reactions, focus, and precise movement. Keep an eye out for score boosters as well, which can give you an extra push to climb higher.
The game is designed with a minimal black-and-white visual style, staying true to classic arcade simplicity. There are no unnecessary distractions—just straightforward, fast-paced gameplay that becomes more challenging over time.
It is heavily inspired by simple, retro games from the 70's, 80's, and early 90's.
Whether you're trying to beat your high score or just looking for a quick session, DROP! is easy to pick up but difficult to master.
Controls:
- A / Left Arrow — Move left
- D / Right Arrow — Move right

Install instructions
As DROP! is a Python file, after clicking "Download" from the itch.io page, you should get a "DROP! 1.1.py" file on your computer.
Make sure you have Python Install Manager on your PC.
Install the required library by running: pip install pygame
Run this command in Command Prompt / Terminal.
Run the file DROP! 1.1.py to play. If you don't want to lose the file, send the file to somewhere you won't forget such as any pinned folder or desktop.

We've made a change to DROP!'s itch.io page, making it look better and more professional with a falling block background (same as the game), a new font, updated the description and overall updated the page significantly. We hope this improves your overall experience with the game in general.
Hey, it's Zxpecstar from Arcayd Entertainment. A small problem going around with DROP! is when often people download the game without having Python Install Manager, which causes the file to download simply as a text document of the actual game's code, please don't download it without having the right tools on your computer. The game does not download on phone, and on phone will do the same thing.
